OKI’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) program continued to gain momentum during 2022. This program provides transformative value to many of the transportation and environmental datasets collected and maintained by OKI. OKI continued its partnership with KYTC District 6 to capture imagery and videos of the two INFRA grant projects (Mt. Zion Road and Richwood Road interchanges) on I-71/75 in Boone County. OKI UAV pilots captured imagery five times during construction season, which provided the cabinet timely aerial intelligence for each project. Data collection at the new Graves Road interchange on I-275 was completed in summer 2022, as construction came to an end.
