OKI is updating our plan for the future of the region’s transportation system.

The 2050 OKI Metropolitan Transportation Plan is a comprehensive plan and blueprint that recommends the transportation projects of the OKI region until the year 2050. The OKI Region includes Hamilton, Clermont, Warren and Butler County in Ohio, Dearborn County in Indiana and Boone, Kenton and Campbell County in Kentucky.

An update is underway, and we’d like to include your ideas for surface transportation projects to consider adding to the plan. Projects could include (non-local) roadway improvements, multi-use or shared bicycle and walking paths, public transit and bus improvements, and freight facilities.

The OKI Board and ICC members are invited to submit ideas. If you are a member of the general public and have a project idea you’d like considered, please contact your jurisdiction’s OKI Board Member.

As OKI uses a multifaceted prioritization process to determine new projects, submitting an idea does not guarantee inclusion. The 2050 Plan Update is a fiscally restrained plan.

Download the 2050 Project Plan Template (Excel), fill out, and submit by email to Bob Koehler, OKI Deputy Director, or mail to Bob Koehler, 720 E. Pete Rose Way, Suite 420, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, by October 31, 2023.  Please contact Bob if you have questions.
