Construction of a new sidewalk along the north/east side of Taylor Mill Road (KY 3716) between Saddlebrook Drive and Walnut Street.

Construct a 10’ wide multi-use path from KY237 (North Bend Road) to KY 20 (Petersburg Road), a distance of 1.35 miles. Includes a sidewalk connection on KY 20 from Merrie Drive to Conner Road, a distance of 730 feet. This path section is a segment of the overall regional CVG Trail Loop.

Construct an 8’ wide concrete multi-use path along the Ohio River using existing public right of way/city-owned property between River Road (city street) and the existing shared use path located on the north side of the floodwall, just west of the Brent Spence Bridge.

Amount Funded: $714,530

The project is located near NKU's campus on KY SR 2238 (Louie B. Nunn Drive) and on US-27. Includes transit super stop, turn lanes on Nunn, upgrade and reconstruction of old sidewalks and new pedestrian/bicycle path linking the NKU campus to the new development.

This phase of the overall 11.5-mile multi-use trail is 1 mile between Berry Street and Fourth Avenue (KY 8).
