Community Strategic Energy Planning Opportunity
With funding from the Duke Class Benefit Fund, OKI will produce Community Strategic Energy Plans for eight interested communities in southwest Ohio. We are now accepting applications for this exciting opportunity.
OKI will produce these plans in partnership with the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance (GCEA).
Eligible communities are any local government (village, city or township) in the four Ohio counties within the OKI region – Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren Counties.
The plans will follow US Department of Energy guidance, while also being tailored to the local community’s situation. The planning process for each plan will take approximately six months and will feature robust public input.
The grant award also includes a fund dedicated to implementing objectives of the eight plans.
The Program Summary and Application are available below.
OKI and GCEA look forward to working with you in developing these plans.
