SAFETEA-LU has revised the requirements for the annual listing of projects, including investments in pedestrian walkways and bicycle transportation facilities. The intent is to increase the transparency of government spending on transportation projects and strategies in metropolitan areas to State and local officials, and to the public at large. The following information complies with the federal requirements in SAFETEA-LU and provides information on federally-funded transportation projects obligated during fiscal year 2006 in the OKI region.
