Transit On-Board Survey
The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI), Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA), Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK), and Clermont Transportation Connection are conducting a survey of transit users. The goal of this survey is to provide data for planning long range improvements to transit in the region.

How Will The Results of This Survey Be Used?
The survey results will be used to identify traveler behavior by various groups.
OKI maintains a travel demand model that uses household characteristics to assist with forecasting transportation in the future. Part of this is matching demographic data, such as the number of workers per household and number of vehicles per household, with transportation mode choices.
Who is doing the survey?
OKI, SORTA, TANK, and CTC contracted with NuStats and GeoStats. Local staffing for the survey is from Voice Of Your Customer and Herman Staffing.
What is the survey schedule?
Surveyors will be on random busses at random times from October 26, 2010 through December 17, 2010.
Can I see the results?
Certain results, in aggregate, will be posted here in the spring when survey processing is complete. Aggregate results mean that results are grouped to protect confidentiality, which includes total responses (e.g. 500 people made three or more transfers) and some cross-tabulated responses (e.g. 350 people made three or more transfers and own 1 vehicle).
Disaggregate results, which may include names, phone numbers, and locations, are confidential and not shared.
The confidentiality of our respondents is our first priority, so if we are concerned that anything can be used to identify a survey respondent (even if they can’t identify their name), it will not be made public.
Are my responses confidential?
No personally identifiable information will be shared or sold. Your name, phone number, and all address information are kept confidential. These will not be shared or sold.
