This map shows areas in the OKI Region that have some of the world’s most productive soils -- classified as Prime and Important Farmland -- and areas enrolled in state programs for 5-year protection as agricultural land -- Ohio and Kentucky Agricultural Districts (Indiana does not have Agricultural Districts).
