Wastewater Treatment Facilities In December 1999, OKI released Status of Wastewater Treatment Facilities and Facility Planning Areas in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren Counties, Ohio. The 168-page report assesses the needs for centralized wastewater treatment in OKI’s four Ohio counties. Based largely on information collected from wastewater treatment plant operators, NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) records, the Ohio Water Resource Inventory and OKI population projections, the report offers a regional perspective on the many variables to be considered for the extension or consolidation of sewage service. It includes a four-county map of sewer facility planning areas, wastewater treatment plants, areas with sewage service, and areas with concentrations of household wastewater treatment systems. |
